Squier Jazzmaster w/Seymour Duncan Jazz Pickups - Green Stain for sale in Clinton Corners, NY
Green stained partsmaster. Alder body, squier neck and trem, Seymour Duncan Jazz Humbucker (bridge and neck set), Mad Hatter solder-less wiring system. I was going for a hybrid Thurston Moore / Lee Ranaldo type of guitar. The jazz set sound great, they have a mellow but clear tone and I found effect pedals respond really well to them. It's in a 1 volume setup at the moment (you can see the electrical tape I put over the tone knob hole) but there's a push-pull tone pot you can add so you can coil split the humbuckers (I don't have a matching knob, sorry). I did not mill the body myself, it was purchased from Woodtech who do great work. I did have to drill out some space to install the humbuckers. The finish is smooth and not sticky, though you can see where it's a bit splotchy on the back and top, nothing too noticeable. There's one tiny pinhole in the back from a too-long pickup screw incident (pictured). Strap locks are installed. It got a lot of play out of me until I swapped the neck out a month or so ago and just haven't gotten around to buying a new set of tuners or string tree to re-complete it. Comes with the fender gig bag. I'll be moving sometime in the next year and decided it was best to downsize the collection, I'm checking enough instruments as it is. Essentially selling it for the cost of the electronics and bag. Let me know if you have any questions.
